Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy


Non Members


If you're booking with me for the first time and you're not a member, I ask for full payment upfront. This includes a non-refundable booking fee (50%), which helps protect my time and reduce ghost bookings, no-shows, and last-minute cancellations.

As a solo business owner, every appointment matters — and this policy ensures I can offer reliable service to those who genuinely intend to show up.

Please make sure you have at least 4 weeks of hair growth before booking. This ensures the wax can grip properly and gives you the best results.


 *Just a heads-up: a booking fee isn’t a deposit — please keep this in mind before confirming*


Members


Members enjoy more flexibility and perks. You can book appointments without a booking fee, and schedule up to 9 months in advance.


One week before your appointment, you'll receive a reminder via email and SMS. At that point, you'll be asked to pay the remaining balance and confirm your attendance.


If something comes up within 48 hours of your appointment, you’ll need to cancel and rebook — rescheduling isn’t available that close to the appointment. This helps me avoid last-minute gaps and offer the slot to someone else.


Cash Paying Clients


If you’re a returning cash client, I ask that you prepay for 2 appointments. This holds a credit on your account and ensures the cancellation policy can still be enforced.


When booking online, select ‘Pay Later’ — this option is only available to previous cash clients who’ve already arranged this with me.



Cancellation Policy


You can cancel your appointment anytime using one of the following:

Cancel 5–2 days before: I retain 50% of your payment and credit the other 50% to your account.


Cancel within 48 hours: The full payment is retained.


No-shows: Full payment is retained.


These policies help me stay financially stable and ensure that my time is respected. I don’t double-book or overfill my schedule — every slot is reserved just for you.


Grace Period for Loyal Clients


If you’ve been with me for 12 months or more, you’re entitled to one grace cancellation per year.


I understand that life happens — illness, emergencies, or unexpected changes. If you need to cancel under those circumstances, I’ll credit your full payment to your account for future use.



illness – Your Conditions


Please follow all health and safety measures, such as using hand sanitiser and wearing a mask if needed.


If you're feeling unwell or showing signs of illness (cold, flu, etc.), I ask that you reschedule. If you arrive visibly sick, I may need to refuse service to protect myself and other clients.


Starting your period is not a valid reason to cancel. Waxing is still safe and effective during menstruation. If you choose to cancel for this reason, the full payment will be retained and a new appointment must be booked and paid for.


By booking, you confirm that you’ve read and understood these terms and agree to follow any safety measures I ask of you.



illness – My Commitment to You


If I’m feeling unwell or test positive for Covid-19, I will cancel your appointment to keep you safe. I know this may be inconvenient, but your wellbeing comes first.


If I cancel, you’ll be able to rebook and your payment or booking fee will be refunded, credited, or moved to a future date — whichever works best for you.
